Stir It Up Turntable is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great turntable I have been trialling the stir it up turntable and I can definitely recommend this product. I’ve been looking for a turntable for a while as I’ve got a big vinyl collection. I really like the design of it with the wood base, it looks really good and it’s also easy to set up. I linked it up to my speaker dock and the sound was great, really pleased with it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Marley turntable I got this Marley turntable a week ago, straightforward to set up looks great, very stylish my only complaint would be I wished it came with speakers or the bottom of it had an inbuilt speaker. I am very happy overall with this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality item This turntable shouts 'Quality'. From the beautiful tactile wood finish to the wonderful sound quality. I am sure this would look good in any room - a real feature. Don't worry about playing really old records as this turntable comes with a counter weight to stop the needle skating and jumping...and it works!! The sound produced its excellent. I found this deck easy to assemble and wired through my amp produces great sound. Being someone who loves music I can highly recommend this turntable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Deck. This is a rather cool bit of kit. It has a bamboo top and everything seems to be made of good quality materials. It does require a little bit of assembly when you receive it (the tensioner band, arm weight, etc.) but it is pretty quick and easy to do, even if the enclosed instructions are a little bit vague. There is a fabric cover to go over the top of it, but it's not a hard cover so you have to be a little more careful. The main switch is nice and clunky, and the arm has a solid feeling to it. As to the playing, I have tried a few different records and they all seem to play fine, after adjusting the weight slightly. The sound coming out of it is pretty good as well. I also played a couple of songs from my phone through the USB connection and that seemed to work as well, although it is essentially just a speaker doing it that way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound This is a really good quality record player, has a good weight to it, it doesn't look or feel cheap at all. It really is worth spending the money on this, than some of the cheaper ones. Easy to set up and plugs into your amps or speakers giving great sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use Brilliant sound, and a plus is that it has a built-in pre-amp which makes life easy. You will need your own speakers, which I prefer as I know what I like. It would make a great gift for anyone who loves their vinyl records! It's very easy to set up and is quite slim, so it won't take up much space. Highly recommended.

how to correctly setup a counterweight and tracking force for stir-it-up turntable ?

Asked by: Piorek
Hey, Piorek. The counterweight, assuming you've assembled it, for the stylus that the Stir It Up comes with has a tracking force of 2.5 to 3.5 grams, so you want to get it to about 3.0 grams. To do this you need to adjust the counterweight until the tone are is floating level, this is a little tough because this turntable doesn't give the tone arm much play, so you might have to tap it a few time until you're confident it's floating level with (or parallel to) the platter. At this point you should be at 0 grams, so take the face plate of the counterweight, but do not adjust the weight itself, and fix it to 0 grams. Now you should be able to adjust the back part and set it to 3 grams. I hope that helped.

Looking for a player that will play more than one record . The old players held several records. Do you have any?

Asked by: Glen
Unfortunately, the Stir It Up turntable can only hold one record at a time.

Does it have built in speakers or do I have to buy those separately?

Asked by: dgranzow
It does not have Speakers. It does have RCA output jack as well as USB output. You can direct connect to a sound bar but if you’re looking at a multi speaker set up you should connect this to a receiver and then hook your speakers up to the receiver.

Hello, I'm a real newbie to the world of turntables. You said that it's possible to directly connect it to a speaker, does this mean that it would work to connect it to the House of Marley Riddim, which has an AUX input? Thanks!

Asked by: Anjasmin
That is correct. You should be able to connect to any speaker with an aux input.
