The Uplift 2 is the newest model of earbuds from the House of Marley. An update to the much-loved original Uplift, these earbuds are ergonomically designed for a comfortable and natural fit. The acoustics have been re-tuned to give listeners a more balanced, cleaner and crisper sound. As with all House of Marley products, the Uplift 2 is constructed using the sustainable materials of FSC® Certified Wood, recyclable aluminum and silicone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound IF you put the correct size earbud on These headphones have great bass and great treble. However, to get the bass, you have to have the correct size rubber earbuds installed (the replaceable rubber gasket that goes in your ear). Unfortunately, these headphones come with 1 pair of small rubber earbuds and 2 pairs of medium earbuds. This is instead of shipping the typical 1 pair each of small, medium, and large. My ears require large rubber earbuds. When I installed the medium ones that came with, I had the same complaint of weak bass that other folks have. Fortunately since I save the rubber earbuds from prior old headphones, I installed a pair of large earbuds from one of those and now the Uplift 2 sounds great. I would give these a 5 star if they came with ALL 3 sizes instead of having to recycle the rubber earbuds from older headphones.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A terrible fit Just bought these today, so this is a true initial impression. These headphones are decent, the sound quality is on par with others in the same price bracket when on sale (just bought for $30 NZD) and not up to scratch with those sitting at RRP. They lack definition in the bass, with a low range that seems to be missing the frequencies between a deep male voice and sub bass levels, leading them to read as weak. The treble is clean, if not slightly over dominant especially at higher listening levels, and the mids clear in most respects. However, the audio quality appreciation is limited in one CRUCIAL respect. These DO NOT FIT. I have never had any issues with ANY earphones before, including Marleys previous, more bullet-shaped iterations of the Uplift and smile Jamaicas. The so called ergonomic shape is a massive housing with substantial heft, and then extremely short angled vents that hold the tips. Changing the size of those does little to reduce the fact that they just seems to be BARELY holding in. They constantly require pushing in, no matter that tips are used, and the shape of the housing makes even that difficult.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mic is Dead I purchased this headset seven months ago. The mic slowly faded away. Today, it’s unusable. I tried testing it on both my MacBook and iPhone. Neither can pick up my voice. The mic port is clear so I’m guessing it’s either poor quality or defective. People complained when it did work that I sounded distant. I had to hold the mic directly in front of my mouth for people to hear me clearly. The Bluetooth isn’t that great either. A distance of six feet is enough for it to start losing connectivity. People might argue external factors are affecting the signal but I have a JBL wireless Bluetooth speaker and it works fine at the same distance. The sound is good quality. Unfortunately, the above problems have me using my stock wired iPhone earbuds more often than this wireless set. I’d recommend looking for an alternative set over this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I repeat do not buy I just bought them and the audio is atrocious I would like a refund of some sort. The audio is very tinny and no bass. I am not exaggerating when I say no bass. I promise you will be happier investing in jbl earbuds and I bought these on sale for 15 dollars and I am filled with regret.

are the uplift 2 controls works with android>

The Uplift 2 headphones will work with any device. However, the volume control buttons are only supported by iOS devices.

Are they resistant? That is, they do not tend to break down in 1 year or less?.

Bought these today and the mic is dead straight out of the package. Also the connector plug isn’t solid in my controller and  audio cut outs and static feedback. Really disappointing. Care to upgrade me to a wireless pair for my troubles and travel?
