Customer Reviews

Rise BT Wireless Headphones is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality #2 I bought one of these as a gift for my boyfriend - and the same happened the next day that Shauney Thomas (the previous review writer) has described with the difference that they were not even folded or put under any unusual strain other than normal wear for approx. 30-60 mins max.The store where I have bought it sent it back to the vendor, who said that this has broken off, so guarantee is not applicable and they will not refund or replace it (even though we did nothing that should have broken it!). Poor quality - don't buy (and I would only accept a refund at this point). I'll make sure to not buy anything from Marley in the future, and will advise against doing so for everyone that asks me about the brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love them! Pros: Good bass and treble, very comfortable, 12 hour battery life is good, VERY well built, no plastic at allCons: Charger could be a little longer, headphones will hurt head after a while, Bluetooth connections aren't as good with my android phone and my Windows 10 computer.Overall impression: If you need a new pair of headphones but don't want to pay over 200 dollars for them, buy these. They are really robust and just very amazing headphones.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Spud Brought a pair and the ear gimble o ring fell out followed by the speaker this is the 4th pair as I had a charging problem and now they won't change them unless it's a manufacture problem I treat everything I own with respect this has not been caused by Miss use or as the HMV tossei tryed to tell me it was an "accident " so we won't replace it NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome It expresses the way that Bob Marley would look at a way of music and a way of art and thinking they are very simple and that's what I like they don't show out to much so you can listen to music in peace.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissappointed It's really too bad. I like the sound. The blue tooth is ridiculously easy to pair up. Made with heavy duty materials........until the left earpiece became detached from the headpiece. It just came off and will not re-attach. I tried to get a replacement from where I bought them but I was told that I needed to deal with House of Marley directly. Trying to contact them by phone is a nightmare but after an hour or so I did speak with a rep. They wanted me to send them the headphones back to them......prepaid by me. I pushed back and they agreed to pay for the shipping. All I had to do was send them an email with the receipt in an attachment. Fair enough email sent. Two weeks later, still no reply. In the meantime the right side earpiece has detached in the same manner. I resent the email asking why I hadn't heard from them and also sent them a picture showing that the other earpiece is now defective as well. I sent a copy of these emails to their website as well. Finally a response comes through offering to send the UPS labels to me. I agree but with the caveat that I would now prefer a refund since I have lost confidence that a replacement would not fail within a few months as the originals did. When one side broke I think to myself, bad luck. When both sides fail I think we have a design flaw. Combine that with poor customer service and you have a perfect storm of " I think I will buy my next product elsewhere ". We shall see whether House of Marley is willing to back up it's product. I hope so since I also bought their Get Together Mini bluetooth speakers. I liked them so much I bought the Rise BT headphones a few months later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simply perfect I've never had much attraction to over the ear headphones as earbuds typically work just fine, though the idea of going wireless had some appeal, even if Apple's AirBuds have slightly less appeal than a root canal. As it happened, I was in a large electronics box store picking up some memory for my laptop when I wandered through the headphones section. I looked at the more posh brands - Bose, Sennheiser, Beats. All displayed in similar white plastic materials as though purchased from Jon Ive's annual garage sale. I test drove some of the other offerings with the same material -- an iPhone 6s plus with the tracks "Generique" by Miles Davis; "Tamacun" by Rodrigo and Gabriela; as well as "Julia" by Jungle. The competing brands al had decent, if not dry and flat sound reproduction and if I was willing to drop around $500 on a pair of headphones, any of them would have been a fine choice. As i wandered through the kiosks, the Marley section was a pleasant contrast to the other displays, redolent in warmth and wood. A pair of Indigo denim Rise headphones caught my eye so I put them on. They were a solid fit with the sort of heft one would expect from a prestige product. The fabric had a great feel to it and the subtle controls are logical and well-placed. I paired them to my phone and listened to my three tracks. After the third time through the playlist, there was no contest. The Rise headphones have a warm sound with plenty of bass that is wet without being muddy. The 50mm drivers really shine with an impressive dynamic range with all the tracks I threw at it. The controls are effortless with the headphones on or off; the fit and finish of the Rise is superb and even the woven fabric USB and Audio cable accessories and stash bag all feel like a much more expensive product. At a fraction of the price of the other brands I tested, the Rise was far and above my favorite in terms of sound quality, style, ease of use and value. If you are keen on a pair of wireless headphones, you should definitely pick these up.
