So far so good.I bought this earlier this month and so far so good. I'm still getting my ears to shape to them, but I'm glad they came with smaller rubber ear pieces so they fit in my smaller ears. When I connect to my Windows PC, it usually auto-connects voice only rather than audio as well, so sometimes that can be annoying to disconnect each time. However, I really enjoy the sound quality. Overall my reason for purchase is because of the sustainability aspect of these. I loved the sustainable packaging they came in and the re-purposed materials are amazing quality. I can see these lasting a long time.

Great if they just stayed in!I bought these 4 months ago as my first ever pair of bluetooth earphones.
I was very happy, smooth bluetooth connection and amazing battery life, awesome to not have the usual cord to my pocket!
I absolutely love the brand and am still loyal, but unfortunately I find these earphones fall out of my ears! (e.g. when cycling, turning my head to check behind me swings out the button piece and makes that ear fall out - equally when dancing and swinging my head, etc).
I would guess that the amazing battery is what's causing the weight...
I should add that I use the smaller earpieces, perhaps that doesn't help!
These would still be great for exclusively sedentary use! - still amazing value
ps one ear just stopped working, so I will be returning my pair - and finding a different Marley solution hahaha

DisappointedI am disappointed with the 2.0 because it's a bad design from the original. The around the neck design of the original was so much more comfortable and allowed a better fit during activity such as walking, running, or cycling. The in wire control dangling on the one side of the wire with nothing on the other side to balance it makes it difficult for the buds to stay in ear even during minimal movement. Bring the original back i wore out my originals. When i went to your site to replace them i was disappointed that they had been discontinued.

Smile Wireless 1.0 VS 2.0 ComparisonThis is a comparison between the Smile wireless 1.0 (which I used for 3 years) and 2.0 (which I've been using for a few weeks).
DESIGN: Other reviewers complained about the 2.0 control panel feeling lopsided because it was on the left side. Personally I feel that it's so light, you barely notice it. The only time I noticed it was when jogging... for jogging, I did prefer 1.0 since I could tuck the stems of the neckband into the top of my sports bra straps. But, if you do a lot of running, I think you might just go for a model with the ear clips. I generally prefer the design on 2.0 because without the neck band it packs up smaller. Also 2.0 has a better range of colours.
MICROPHONE: I think the mic quality on 2.0 is better. The position is definately better, as it's closer to the mouth whereas on 1.0 it's on the end of the neckband. This made it impossible to use in winter, if you were wearing a coat and scarf, the neckband would definately be obscured by layers of clothing.
'LOOSABILITY': I feel that the neckband of 1.0 gives a false sense of security that you can take the earpieces out and the neckband will stay on your neck - in reality it can easily slide off your neck, which is ultimately how I lost my headphones. I like that the 2.0 has a tiny clip so you can secure it around your neck if you want to take the ear pieces out briefly. Saying that, it has come undone on me once, so still need to be careful.
FUNCTIONALITY: One of the most annoying things about 1.0 is that the button to turn on/off is the same button to talk to Siri (on an iPhone). Every time I turned off the headphones, it would simeoultaneously trigger Siri, but if I wasn't connected to internet, my iPhone would scream through the speaker (annoying everyone in earshot) "Siri unavailable you are not connected to internet" on repeat until I could manually switch it off my phone. Thankfully, 2.0 doesn't do that. I don't know if there's a different way to trigger Siri on them, I've not bothered to investigate since I don't want Siri in my life.
Another nice feature in 2.0 is there's a low battery pre-recorded audio warning when you have about 20min of battery left. This is great, since the 1.0 had no warning and would just die unexpectedly.
BATTERY: I've not done practical tests of the battery, but the website specs says 2.0 has an extra hour of battery life.
Overall, they both have great 'true' audio quality (not too bassy, not too tinny, no noise-cancelling) at a very reasonable pricepoint. Great for mid-range users who want a certain degree of quality but aren't willing to spend top dollar on the absolute best sound. Great for cyclists, if a call comes through on the bike you can easily answer with one click instead of having to navigate traffic to pull over and answer the phone. Overall, the added features on 2.0 make it the winner for me, but some people might just prefer the neckband on 1.0. Can't go wrong either way.

Great QualitySound quality is great, and cool appearance of earphones. Comfortable to wear, with a smaller option of buds if needed. Didn't receive my my delivery reference, so wasn't able to know when my order was dispatched, nevertheless, they arrived on the expected day. These are my second Marley earphones, with their superb sustainability, and sound quality you can't go wrong.
Does the ear bud come with a large plug option? I don't want the buds to fall out of my ears.

So far loving these! What is the best way to charge to prolong battery life? Should I completely drain down and then fully charge up? Or should I charge a little bit every day?
Asked by: Ann F
Thank you for your question. The earbuds contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that works much like a cell phone battery. Leaving the earbuds plugged in can diminish the lifespan of the battery. We recommend fully charging the earbuds, then using the earbuds until the battery is depleted then recharging.
