Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful, comfortable, and useless I was gifted this last christmas after highlighting it in my wishlist and falling in love with them over the internet. They are so lovely and comfortable. The battery life is so impressive and I so desperately want them to work. Which is why every single time I wanted to use them I had to go through the steps of resetting them and "forgetting" them on every device ever. Even if my laptop "forgot" them but the bluetooth was left on, the buds wouldn't connect to my phone and vice versa. This obviously was time consuming and annoying but something I put up with for over 9 months now. However, two things have happened: they got knocked off my bed, which stands 15" from the ground (no frame, just mattress) onto the wood floor, and the case broke. This screams poor craftsmanship. Additionally (maybe due to the fall, maybe not because this seems to be common), the right earbud will not connect anymore, no matter how many times I run through the troubleshooting steps. I want to love them, I want them to work. But I cannot recommend anyone purchase one until they address this very common and annoying issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Got these a day ago and there's already problems I was listening to music when suddenly the right one unpaired, ever since I have not been able to pair the right earbud to any of my devices. Even my computer that has never paired to these earbuds before, I've followed all their troubleshooting suggestions and nothing has worked. I've emailed and I still haven't received a response. I absolutely love the design, sound, look and feel of these earbuds but I'm just so disappointed in how they are working so far. At this point, I don't know what else to do besides accept that I might be listening to music only out of my left ear for the rest of my life.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but constantly trouble shooting When they do work they are the best sounding wireless earbuds I have ever used but they are often not working. They constantly just won't turn on so one will be working and the other won't. Not only do they often not work but contacting anyone through the company will get you nowhere! Especially since these aren't common like apple products you can't look up much help online. I'd not recommend these earbuds but considering how much I spent I won't be getting an alternative.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I was gifting a pair of Liberate Air earbuds for Christmas, they worked great until a few months ago when the right ear bud stopped connecting. I looked into it and saw that this is a common issue. I contacted House of Marley, shipped my earbuds back to them and they sent me a new pair very quickly. I was impressed with their customer service. I used the new earbuds for two days before the same issue started again - right earbuds not connecting. I contacted House of Marley again, and was told that FedEx would be by to pick up the earbuds on Wednesday or Thursday of last week. They did not come so this Monday I called back, only to be told that I had to speak with the same agent, who wasn’t in that day. I left her a voicemail expecting a call back the next day. I still haven’t heard from her and still have a pair of useless earbuds. i so wanted to love this product, and I did until they stopped working. I wish I could get reimbursed so I can purchase a product that works.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from To many problems. I've had this headphones for a year or two, and in those times I've had multiple problems, from constant disconnecting and unable to connect. Now the headphones doesn't work at all, the left side has decided to stop working, the right side still lights up white when pulled out of the case, but the left has no light, apart from when you put it back in a dim red light appears and disappears, the right seem to connect to the left when searching for its pare, but even so the left refuses to connect to the right. (Yes I have tried to force connect the headphones) Would I recommend this headphones? No, I would not.

The earbud not only couldn't enter pairing, but also couldn't charge at all. But my right earbud is totally fine! Would appreciate that someone could give advice for my next step.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Problems with the left piece I bought the liberate air one year ago. A half year later I got connection problems with the left one so I sent it back and got new ones. (no very eco firendly) Just after 2 weeks I got the new ones the left one stopped working again. I just see the red LED but if I take it out the blinking white LED wont turn on. (I think it turns just off) So I wonder if I'm the problem or does this product just have a huge system fault?

Have one earphone that always drops it’s connection, or shuts off, and the only way to bring it back online is ti seat it in the case and remove again. Two or three times a day! Also sometimes the buds lose sync between each other and produce an awful echo because a delay is introduced between left and right.

The right earbud has stopped working and I've done everything that House of Marley has recommended I try, to no avail. I will remove my review if customer service can resolve this issue for me. Until then, save your money. It is not eco friendly if the device itself is defective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My favorite headphones! But.. Im really happy with my purchase, i love the quality of Marley house headphones definitely worth the cost. My only cons are; placing them in my ear causes a lot of pressure to build up which can be uncomfortable but im sure it could be fixed with smaller rubber pieces or something. My only other con is the tap sensor isn’t very sensitive so i find myself tapping them a few times before i can get the function to work. Although for wireless Bluetooth headphones i wouldnt buy any other pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound, but some problems. I've had them for a month now, so feel somewhat qualified for a full review. Everything that reviewers are complaining about pairing is true. Very difficult pairing process and the disconnects are frequent. Note: only one earbud actually connects via bluetooth, though you'll see both "Liberate Air L" and "Liberate Air R" listed in your bluetooth settings. This should be made clear in the documentation to stop frustration. When you pick the earbuds out of the case, only one of them will connect to your phone/device via bluetooth. The other earbud connects to the one that's connected. This isn't obvious in the documentation or the setup guide. Initially, at pairing, you'll see only one earbud (either "Liberate Air L" or "Liberate Air R") - connect the earbud that you see to bluetooth. Then after that earbud connects, you'll see another message asking for the second earbud to connect - I don't exactly remember what that message was. But after you accept that message, the earbud will show up in your bluetooth settings. You may actually also get a message to say that bluetooth connection for the second earbud has failed - not a problem. The first one connected so this isn't an issue. You should see both earbuds listed in your bluetooth settings. But only one will be connected. The main problem with this set of wireless earbuds is the numerous disconnects, typically only from one ear. I've found that the only way to solve this is to take the earbud that's stopped playing and put it back in the case for 5 seconds. When you take it back out - it will find it's partner and start playing again. Normally, the one that dies is the one that's not connected via bluetooth - the one that's connected to the other earbud. Remember - only one will show as "connected" in your bluetooth settings on your phone/device. These earbuds also have issued when you're outside. The connection breaks erratically and can be very annoying. I suspect that if you sit in one place and don't move around a lot, then you may get a stable connection and listen without a crackling sound or disconnection. On the positive side, super sound. The bass is clear and deep and vocals sound very strong. Even the high notes are well balanced. Listening with one earbud is also a very strong point. Miraculously enough, if you take the earbud that's connected to bluetooth out of your ear and put it in the case, the other one connects to bluetooth and continues playing. There's a bit of a gap, a few seconds, but it happens. This could be part of the cause of the issues when playing outside, or the spurious disconnects. All in all, I would recommend these for times when you're just sitting and doing quiet work - or in the office. With the case handy, when one of the earbuds disconnects, it's an easy job to put it back in the case for a few seconds and you're good to go again. One last comment - I've seen some complaints regarding charging. When placing them back in the case, you need to push them down very slightly - don't trust the magnet to take hold. If you don't do this, they may not actually sit properly in the case and will then connect to your device, sometimes unsuspectingly. When you go to retrieve them and they're not charged. In my case, since I have other bluetooth earbuds, the ones I'm wearing will suddenly quit. And that's because the Liberate Air's have kicked them off bluetooth - while they're in the case! A pet peeve. There should be some way to control the volume on the device - rather than the skip track taps. Also, even at the lowest volume, the earbuds are still too loud - I have a pair of Beats that are perfect for my meditation sounds - I cannot use the Marleys.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice product but could be better I’ve had this product for about 1 week and they have been okay. I say that because in my experience there have been a few problems. For one, the Right side has had a moments where it would stop playing music after close to 15 minutes of use. Another is that when I have gone walking or running, they make a slight static or white noise sound. While I’m listening to music or other media, in the BlueTooth option in settings on my phone it will show “Not Connected” for the Right side earbud. I’ve had the slightest trial of making a phone call while using and my friend told me she could barely hear me. I’ll have to try another phone call to confirm. I’ll probably just look elsewhere for a pair of wireless in-ear buds. I’m not that huge of a fan of regular headsets, I’ve just got used to the In-ear headphones with the silicone attached. I would somewhat recommend if you are looking for a decent pair of low-priced wireless headphones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS These earbuds worked OKAY for the first few months, with the exception of minor blips and disconnections between individual buds and various bluetooth devices. After putting up with these issues for a while, they began doing it all the time. The touch buttons stopped working properly; the buds would randomly start/stop music and skip tracks half-way through, as though I had pushed the command buttons; the buds disconnected constantly from a bunch of old AND new bluetooth devices (ergo, it's the buds, not the devices); and the sound quality dropped and began fuzzing, etc. I sent several emails to the company requesting help and/or replacements, given that I like what the company is trying to represent, and assumed maybe the buds were defective (wrongly assumed after reading MANY similar reviews online), but the company has NEVER reached out to me, despite providing contact info through email and phone. The buds are c r a p, the company is worthless, and I'll never buy anything through them again. You guys are ridiculous! At least if you had addressed my concerns and replaced my buds promptly, I likely would've defended your company, but you can't even scrounge up a tiny bit of concern for your customers and POTENTIAL supporters. Well...support gone. You guys are a worthless company, and your products are obviously c r a p if you're not willing to stand up for them and address the hundreds of complaints I've found online.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from When things go wrong Ive had these Headphones ( Liberate Air) for about 3-4 weeks now. 2 weeks since ive had them the left ear unit has crackling sound when playing music. I have had no fix for this issue. Recently the right ear has continuous blinking of the white light and does not pair with any devices. Right now these are as good as a paperweight. I know during this crisis customer support is thin, however quality control seems to be an issue in these. Maybe ive had a bad set? I dont know. However when customer support does reach out ill be able to hopefully edit this post. For right now though I suggest passing on this until they get their quality control under control.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problem with right earbud. I received my earbuds as a Christmas present and they connected fine and worked fine in the beginning. However, as I started to use them more, they wouldn’t connect correctly. I'd have to put them back in the case for them to connect both earbuds. Now, the right one does not connect anymore and does not even show in my bluetooth screen. The light flashes white but at a steady beat, not rapid as when they connect. It's just like a regular left bluetooth but at a much higner price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constant connection issues - now unusable These earbuds have great sound when you can actually connect them to your device. My right earbud has developed some kind of fault. Which means I can't connect to them at all, nor does the factory reset work- due to the fault i'm guessing. And with the Covid-19 lockdown happening here I'm unable to get the unit replaced. But looking at other reviewers having a similar experience, I'll be pushing for a refund as a replacement will likely still develop a fault.

And will not connect again until you put them into the case and take them out. This is a deal breaker. Engage Siri during run On and off. Very sensitive. Touch control not always work. In fact, almost always not working. For the price, you have many other better options.

I receive the headphones about two months ago, everything was working amazing. Until they stoped wanting to connect, the red light turns on showing that it is charging, but when I take them off de case no white light appears, and they do not connect.

My rightbearbud won&rsquo;t pair with my phone or with the left earbud, this problem occured twice in the past. the problem was solved by the customerservice after I sent the earbuds to them. Is there a other way?

I've had this happen. Try making sure they are fully charged. The charging case looks cool, but that's about it. It only works when plugged into the wall. Gotta make sure the earbud is seated appropriately as well - check that the red light come on steady on both. Jah Bless!

Hello I just received the earphones as a gift and love them already. I have only a small issue when trying to connect them with my old iPod 7th gen. They connect but suddenly the right earbud disconnects and shuts down and sometimes both of them.
