Customer Reviews

Exodus Over-Ear Headphones is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not charging with standard usb cable I bought this about 2 weeks ago and lost the orginal charging cable. I've tried to use another USB cable to charge but it didn't worked. I sent an email to the customer service and no answer. So, basically, if you loose your charging cable your 200 USD headphone will become a garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DOPE! I've finally found the right headphones for my needs. These Exodus headphones from House of Marley are DOPE. ⁣⁣⁣ Last week, I posted on FB, looking for some high quality, foldable over-the-ear Bluetooth headphones that I could travel with - that ALSO come with a cable to connect to my Canon cameras and/or Zoom audio recorder when I'm shooting video and interviews at super loud motorsports events.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ These Exodus joints tick all the boxes for me. They're stylish looking, they're foldable for travel (the battery lasts long for international flights), they have a mic so you can use them instead of airpods when you're talking on the phone, and most importantly - the sound quality is AMAZING so I can hear all the musical details and bass from my favorite music podcast, The Expedition Radio Show. If you like to listen to hip hop, jazz, reggae, roots, dub, jazzy house, bossanova, and funky soul like I do... then you should give these Exodus headphones a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Design On POINT! Been using this for 5 days and I have to say I am, so far, very impressed. Design and construction are amazing and they are super comfortable. I'm a designer so I always gravitate to talking about design first. Moving on to sound...I am surprised by how well balanced the sound is. So far so good here. Will report back on long term quality if anything changes.

Q & A

Still looking for active noise cancellation. Exodus doesn't list that functionality?

Asked by: rjus13
I don't think it has dedicated ANC, but most on-par headphones these days do a pretty good job of cancelling noise. Of course it won't compare to AT, Sony, or Bose, but it's still a nice pair of headphones, especially being wireless. If ANC is the only thing ur looking for, perhaps go visit the Skullcandy Venue, or even the Bose QC30s if you have enough money. But if you just want a nice pair of wireless headphones, these area great. HoM is probably one of the best companies that give more than they take, so spend money on them.

How durable are the leather parts? Some headphone have some form of synthetic or faux leather on the headband and ear cushions that disintegrate over a short time.

Asked by: Chad
The leather is considerably good. Nothing outstanding, but it is recycled, which you can check out on the MATERIALS page. Now, unless you chuck your pair down a flight of stairs, or purposely slice it open with a sharp knife, the cushions will stay intact for your time with it. They're reletively softer than the LIBERATE XLBTs, which have a more rough n tough build quality, so be careful not to let the cushions get caught or snagged on anything

Is there any issue with sound leaking out? I had a pair of over the ear headphones from HoM that I loved but you could hear the music I was listening to if you were standing next to me, even when the volume was low.

Asked by: HoM Fan
Thank you for your question. Please visit one of the retail locations we sell our products at to try them out for yourself to see if you experience the leaking of sound.

Currently own the LIBERATE XLBT headphones and love the sound of them. Are the EXODUS cans cushions larger than the LIBERATE XLBT, specifically the opening for the ears? LIBERATE cushions are a little too small for my large ears.

Asked by: Spaz
Yes the cusions are way larger, its like comparing a Razer Thresher to a HyperX Cloud IIs. The cusions are way better and this pair has a longer battery life.

Can the USB-C cord plug straight into lets say a Google Pixel USB-C port and work as headphones plugged directly in?

Asked by: Perkuless
Yes! I have a Pixel 2 and used the aux cord adapter that came with my phone. I attached it to the end of the aux cord included with the headphones and then plugged it into my phone.

Can I use this for the studio? Like an interface? Thanks.

Asked by: Carlos
I would not recommend these for studio/mixing purposes. Yes they may sound great in some cases (like in a public place where there are things going on around you to block out the imperfections). For $200, you have such a wide range or options for studio headphones, including the Audio Technica M50xs, the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros, and Sennheiser HD 599s, which are all under 150-200 bucks depending on where you get them. The main reason i would not suggest these for a durable and reliable pair of studio headphones is because these are not labled nor built for a studio environment, and don't have the capability to withstand the amount of sheer girth that a music studio can put out, even if its only a bedroom studio running from a 2015 Macbook, it still won't cut it. Especially if you're creating music, you NEED to have the most accurate sound possible, and this pair just doesnt cut it. Hopefully this helps, feel free to ask more questions.
