Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great speaker with a faulty charging port Love , love, love the speaker but like many others mine is now garbage due to a faulty charging port. Was thinking of getting another but after reading the reviews its clear that this is an issue so I'll be buying a different brand this time around.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from **EXTREMELY WEAK MICRO USB CHARGING PORT** EVERY review I've read about this speaker is about the charging port. My friend's speaker just did the same thing. I've phoned several cell phone repair shops (most speaker repair shops won't deal with these speakers with charging ports) because they repair the same type of port that this speaker insists on its consumer to use which is small and fragile, and the average repair bill is $60-$70 CDN. Unless you are proficient at micro soldering and have the tools/part to fix this speaker yourself, which apparently after my research has shown to be quite a tricky thing to accomplish with this particular speaker, you are out of luck, especially if your warranty has expired. This speaker needs to have a 3.5mm - AC/DC charging port instead for proper sturdiness like my BOSE SoundLink Mini. There are too many complaints - ALMOST ALL of which concern this charging port.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from really dodgy USB portal input general sound and feel of speaker is good,however the USB input portal for recharging is flimsy,fragile and easily speaker is now unusable and as its out of warranty was informed, "hey,not our problem" also have a bose speaker and about a year older than the marley which has not had any of these issues and is stil going strong. unhappy with product as many people on forums had same issue,and the newer model has a different recharge input,however the after care service is just insulting

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommendation for future buyers As I was reading reviews for the broken charging port, I figured to avoid that problem, I will use a magnetic micro USB cable, so won't have to jiggle the port. I hope this way the speaker will have a longer life than a few months. I hope I helped to some users wit this idea.

Oh and please enlarge your instructions characters. Old folks like me can't read them. (Bob Marley would be 75yo. Could he read them?)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great quality but problem with the micro usb charg Hello, Product issue : I bought 2 House of Marley speaker Get Together Mini. In both case the same problem happen after 2-4 months : the micro usb charger plug broke. With my first one I simply thought I did something wrong, as I was really happy with the quality of the product (design, quality of sound, weight...) I decided to buy a new one, and been really carefull with the charging plug. Unfortunately same problem happen again after only 2,5 month of used. As I change state I havent been able to go to the shop where I bought it to complain. I started a collection of broken Get together mini, but after 2 of them I think am done Customer service : I contacted the customer service in January 2020, never had an answer, contact again the 26th of April through email and social media, without getting any answer. Took contact again on social media the 10th of June with understanding with covid situation that enquire might take longer but still after 5month felt ignored. Finally, send again messages on email and social media the 19th of september, and finally got a reply on email to just tell me that this customer service was based in USA and was in need to contact the Australian one. So here I am, 8month later.

I read a lot of complaints about the volume of the female voice. Has that issue been resolved? I want to buy 2x mini's because of the pairing, because the normal speaker doesnt have pairing. Is that correct? Or is there a way to lower/adjust the voice?

I will unfortunately have to get rid of this otherwise great sound device due to the constant intrusion of detestable and unwanted voice messages. This is a terrible feature

It seems a lot of people are bothered with the female voice, including me.It is the only thing ,which keeps me buying one, every time someone ask a question about it, the answer is same.Is there going to be a way in the future to change/turnoff the voice?

House Of Marley has states there is no way to turn of voice prompts and no way to change the voice either. It's not a bad sounding voice but the bass and volume kills you if it turns off in the middle of the night.

Your website suggests that we should pair two Get Together Minis for stereophonic sound. I get the concept but does this mean the individual unit's woofers and tweeters play in mono? I was thinking of upgrading but don't need just a bigger mono speaker.

My get together mini doesn't seem to charge properly. The red light initially goes on and then turns off within the space of a minute and doesn't seem to charge up, even when left plugged in. Is this a known fault?

I want a bluetooth speaker that has great sound quality - the Get Together Mini looks good, but I will use the speaker in a bathroom that gets quite steamy.  Can you confirm how steam resistant the Get Together Mini is for bathroom use?
