Exodus Over-Ear Headphones is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 66.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Headphones! I love these headphones. They are very comfortable. I wear them for hours on end, and have no problem. The sound quality is good, and it holds a charge. So glad I bought these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These! I bought these a few weeks ago and could not be happier. I carry them with me everywhere I go.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for boof-heads The headphones are lovely to look at and sound fine (not amazing but nice amd warm) The major problem is that they are really small. I'm a bloke with a decent size head and they barely fit. If I wore a cap or was lucky enough to have hair They'd be no good at all. As they are I can do about an hour before the pressure on my ears is annoying. If those lovely little metal bars were half an inch longer I think they'd have been fine. really shame as they do look great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They fit my small head These headphones are amazing. They look great, are comfortable, and sound fantastic. They are actually too good for my music collection because so many tracks are mp3 instead of lossless, but that just motivates me to re-rip everything. Songs that have less going on, like acoustic or opera, sound wonderful even as mp3. Though complex arrangements like punk or metal definitely need the better sound files, it is phenomenal hearing them as lossless with these headphones. The most impressive part of the sleek packaging was that the cords were held together with twine instead of plastic ties. If I knew music could sound this great, I would have gotten these headphones years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eco friendly without compromising comfort/quality! I bought these for my husband's birthday, and I chose this brand specifically because they seemed to be more environmentally friendly and sustainable than most other options for headphones that I could find, and my husband I are trying to reduce our waste and buy from more conscious companies. I was worried about how the comfort and sound quality of the headphones would be though, thinking I might be sacrificing some of that for the eco-friendly aspect. These headphones are incredibly comfortable though, and the sound quality is amazing. My husband and I both agree that these were a great purchase and great birthday gift. And although I chose these more for the lack of plastic for eco-friendly/sustainability reasons, I think it is also great for aesthetic and quality purposes! I would highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too soon to tell but great so far Had for about a week now to replace my cheap MPOW ones that were failing me. I wear them probably 10+ hours a day. They connect easy with blue tooth, the aux cable is long enough to suite my needs. Sound is great! Seem sturdy enough and I have no issues so far with loose or cheap parts. They look great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look no further First - The customer service I received was fantastic. I had accidentally broken an old pair of HoM headphones, and when inquiring about repairs to the nearly ten-year-old cans, I was given a deep discount for a new purchase as they no longer make the parts for the old set. Very reasonable, and I did not have to simply throw away a pair of headphones that served me so well for so long. Thanks again JohnPaul! Next - The Exodus. Sound quality is superb, made even finer using the provided aux connection (BT audio still lags behind wired connections in general, but both are strong compared to similar headphones). I find myself using the wired connection at my desk/in stationary settings and the BT for everything else. I've been using for two weeks now and I don't think the battery has dipped below 50% yet. I opted for the non-NC option, as the wood aesthetic is just too smooth to pass up. It still blocks out most ambient noise - the construction outside my apartment has finally been silenced. Comfort wise you can wear these for hours and forget they're on your head, as the ear cushions are made of memory foam, and the construction is rather light. The design cant be beat, and its very good to see a company sticking to its environmental roots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unique Headphones with Solid Sound Quality I was eager to try these out given that the market for sustainably made electronics is still pretty thin and I'm a snob when it comes to quality sound. While, I'm only a few weeks into use, I've really enjoyed these so far. True to advertising, they're built sturdy, though they're not as heavy as I expected. The shape is a bit odd, but I found them to be comfortable once I adjusted the sides. The ear cups themselves are very soft and fit over my ears well. I love the design. The solid metal with the natural wood embellishment looks great and the buttons, while easy to feel for when you need them, are fairly subtle in appearance. I wish they came with a more protective case, but they fold up and stow away nicely. I've almost exclusively used them in bluetooth mode and I haven't had any real issues. The buttons do take some getting used to since you hold them for a different amount of time based on what you want to do. It took me a few tries to get the pairing straight, but there's no connectivity issues that I've experienced. There can be some white noise when you've paired them but haven't started playing anything yet, but it didn't bother me. I've used them on a number of calls in bluetooth mode and I've asked if the person on the other end had any issues hearing me and so far it hasn't been an issue. That said, I've mostly called from fairly quiet areas so I can't speak to how well they isolate your voice when there's a bit more background noise. While I'm far from the most discerning ear, I've found the sound quality to be great so far. They're definitely bass heavy, but I listen to a lot of music with softer vocalists and I don't feel as though any detail is lost. I'd say the sound is generally very full and layered, but yes, you will notice the bass on some songs where you previously had not. These are not noise cancelling. I personally don't love ANC which was one reason I got these, but just reiterating, you will hear noises in your environment. I think they do a solid job muffling a lot of outside noise and certain sounds disappear completely (I've definitely been snuck up on while wearing these), but if you get annoyed by ancillary noise, look elsewhere. My takeaway: for the price, these are great headphones AND if you care about the environmental mission, these set the standard for what excellent, environmentally friendly audio should be.

Currently own the LIBERATE XLBT headphones and love the sound of them. Are the EXODUS cans cushions larger than the LIBERATE XLBT, specifically the opening for the ears? LIBERATE cushions are a little too small for my large ears.

Asked by: Spaz
Yes the cusions are way larger, its like comparing a Razer Thresher to a HyperX Cloud IIs. The cusions are way better and this pair has a longer battery life.

Can I use this for the studio? Like an interface? Thanks.

Asked by: Carlos
I would not recommend these for studio/mixing purposes. Yes they may sound great in some cases (like in a public place where there are things going on around you to block out the imperfections). For $200, you have such a wide range or options for studio headphones, including the Audio Technica M50xs, the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros, and Sennheiser HD 599s, which are all under 150-200 bucks depending on where you get them. The main reason i would not suggest these for a durable and reliable pair of studio headphones is because these are not labled nor built for a studio environment, and don't have the capability to withstand the amount of sheer girth that a music studio can put out, even if its only a bedroom studio running from a 2015 Macbook, it still won't cut it. Especially if you're creating music, you NEED to have the most accurate sound possible, and this pair just doesnt cut it. Hopefully this helps, feel free to ask more questions.
