Customer Reviews

Get Together Mini Portable Bluetooth Speaker is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 171.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely amazing This portable speaker is absolutely amazing! It allows me to stream music wherever I go and it also has a rechargeable battery which makes it super convenient and portable. It has a built-in Bluetooth which makes it easy to hook up my phone, iPad, computer, or other peoples devices to be able to stream music. I absolutely love the woodgrain finish, and it gives it a sleek and bohemian vibe which still pairs well with all my decor. It has a nice weight to it, but it still light weight enough to carry around. It has a great base, which was pleasantly surprise him for how small it is.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fragile charging port I received this speaker as a Christmas gift from my children and at first it was amazing. The sound quality, appearance, portability and general functionality was outstanding. Sadly, after 30 days, the port where the power cord plugs into the unit became loose, and then completely caved into the inside of the unit. It is no longer even attached to the circuit/power supply so the unit does not work. I attempted to return the item for exchange at Kohl’s where it was purchased. They instructed me to email the company, which I did. And nothing happened. It is now August 3rd and my $150 Bluetooth speaker won’t even power up. Very, very disappointing product and customer service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor battery life I bought this speaker a month ago, and the battery life only lasts 1 hour now. Its disappointing because I was so excited for a good speaker and this was not it. Not worth the price for this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great speaker. I bought this speaker as a gift for my boyfriend 2 years ago and after babying this speaker the charging port has broke. The boyfriend is so sad! We are just over our two year warranty and I am not sure there is anything that can be done besides buying a new one. This speaker is tiny but mighty and is used for all music in our house, outside our house, and even goes camping with us. Literally this is one of his prized possessions but I’d now broken due to the charging port.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dope! This speaker is mini but mighty! The sound is super clear and the bass is extraordinary. Very lightweight and easy to move around. The colors go really well with any decor. The outlet plugs came in a variety for different countries electric currents which was super cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So stinkin cute and loud I did not expect this speaker to be as cute or as big as it was. Most Bluetooth speakers are pretty small and don't give off high quality sound and bass. With this speaker we were able to still hear the quality of the music and very loud might I add. It wasn't distorted or mangled but loud, clear and the bass was on point. The buttons are easy to locate and very easy to use. The wood finished look gives it a classy style and this fits right in the den on the entertainment center until we use for on the go. It was great at the beach with all the other sounds in the air. I was still able to hear my music good and loud.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good design; wood front covers sound It's a pretty good speaker not like as good as JBL or Bose but for that price it's what I expected. It has okay bass, it looks really nice with the wood on the outside however the sound is more muted with the wood covering the woofer area. It comes with a charging cord and a USB wall charger with American/European charging attachments so you could charge just about anywhere. One down side: it announces the actions very loudly. There does not appear to be a way to quiet that announcement down, or turn it off. Regardless, the design of the speaker is absolutely beautiful, and it sounds fantastic! I feel like I rarely have to charge it, and it holds charges really well. I use this outside and it works amazing. No problems connecting it to my iPhone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from House of Marley - Sound Mini What a sound system I was able to purchase....I mean it was more than I expected. Even the size of the House of Marley Sound Mini was bigger than I expected. I was able to link the Sound Mini to my smartphone (Bluetooth) and it worked magnificently. The sound that came out was clear and loud. No buffering or anything. I also played audio messages that I was able to hear without a problem. It does not clash with anything in my home (the look of the Sound Mini fits perfectly). The battery life is up to 10 hours and ranges at a good distance. This is a good way to stream your music wherever you may be. I would recommend this product to anyone who maybe looking for a good mini speaker to take on the road or just keep at home. Just a great way to listen to whatever you would like to play.

I have my speaker always connected to a USB and aux cord at work. I play music through my computer and every several minutes the voice prompt comes on and says “charging”. Is there a way to turn that specific feature off?

Asked by: VW Toronto
Thank you for your question. There is no way to turn the voice prompts off. We suggest Not operating the speaker while it's plugged in so the voice prompt won't be constant.

Sometimes my Gettogether is too loud. My apartment is small & the speaker is next to the table. When I have dinner guests & iPhone music playing on the speaker - PHONE VOLUME ON MINIMUM - it's just a notch too loud. Is it possible to decrease the volume?

Asked by: Alexandra
Thank you for your question. The maximum volume that the speaker can reach on the speaker can be adjusted on the device it's playing from. You should also be able to adjust the volume on the speaker itself.

Is there a smartphone app that works with this product where you can adjust equalizer settings etc.?

Asked by: JayTdot
I'm using a generic equalizer app on an iPad to do just this (Equalizer+ Premium). It does the job for music, at least.

Is there any way to lower the minimum volume level when using it through bluetooth? The sound level at minimum setting is simply too loud. If not: could we get a firmware update to resolve all the issues related in this forum, including this one?

Asked by: Patrick
Found a work around (on iPad): use an equalizer to play music and lower all frequencies to lower the overall volume. Too bad the Get Together Mini sound volume control is so inflexible...

Can two Get Together Mini speakers be playing from the same Bluetooth feed from separate parts of a room? Same music, two different Mini speakers? If so, how?

Asked by: Mark888
Thank you for your question. Yes they can be as long as they are both 15 meters from the Bluetooth device. To do this, you can turn on both units and put them into pairing mode. Then press the Bluetooth button on both speakers for 2 seconds (This must be done at the same time.) Then there will be a tone once the speakers have been paired together. Once the tone happens, go into the Bluetooth settings on your device and it should come up as "GT Mini x2".
