Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great speaker but with a serious flaw Awesome sound and the speaker looks great but voice prompts are to me VERY loud. And as far as I know there is no way to turn them off which is a pretty dumb design in my opinion. I wouldn't buy the speaker if I knew about that issue. I had to stop using the speaker in a bedroom as it was waking me up when it was turning off. So defo buy it if you don't mind it shouting "powering off" or "powering on" at you at the level of 84 decibels (based on a mobile app reading so it might be inaccurate)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved before.... love it more NOW! My children bought a mini for my birthday which along with a subscription to Spotify, really renewed my love for music. The sound is great, the portability wonderful, the look is clean couldn't have been happier until...... the charge port was damaged by me not pulling the cord out prior to moving the mini. I ordered a USB cord for the "charge out" port but it doesn't work for charging. I confirmed this by looking on their site ( which I should have done in the first place) and discovered other people had the same issue as me. They were referred to a phone number so I figured I had nothing to loose and called. The service I received was great. I was given a claim no. And instructions to return my unchargable mini. I was told it would be replaced after I told them it was two years old. I was the reason for the charge port issues but they still sent me a new mini. Who provides service like that!! I am a fan for life!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound The sound is great. My only complaint is that there is no way to turn off the overly loud voice prompt. The low power warning sound is also ridiculously loud. I've stopped using the speaker in the office because of this. Great speaker at home, though.

The voice prompt and the fact that its volume can't be changed, it can't be deactivated, it interrupts playback to tell you it's charging AND the fact that it's not part of any firmware that is modifiable is really the biggest caveat of an otherwise good sounding speaker. It really is a major design flaw. Many report a failing mini USB port, but mine is permanently plugged in so I cannot report on any weakness in that regard.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good speaker, small issue I bought this speaker a couple weeks back and love how clear the sound of music or relatively anything that I play out of it sounds. I notice whether connected to bluetooth or through an AUX cord, that at a low volume it makes a sort of screeching noise. I am unsure of how or if you can fix it. It is really bothersome. I may try to return it. If I could relate the sound to something, it would be similar to a mouse making a continuous, low, squeal. Overall, the speaker would be good for parties if you wanted to blare music.

If it was just in the right position it would charge, but now it's damaged altogether out of no where. I used this speaker religiously and am SO sad about this issue. Any recommendations to go about fixing it?!

I read a lot of complaints about the volume of the female voice. Has that issue been resolved? I want to buy 2x mini's because of the pairing, because the normal speaker doesnt have pairing. Is that correct? Or is there a way to lower/adjust the voice?

I will unfortunately have to get rid of this otherwise great sound device due to the constant intrusion of detestable and unwanted voice messages. This is a terrible feature

It seems a lot of people are bothered with the female voice, including me.It is the only thing ,which keeps me buying one, every time someone ask a question about it, the answer is same.Is there going to be a way in the future to change/turnoff the voice?

There is no way to disable the startup/shutdown sounds, or lower the volume. We are sorry for all inconvenience this causes.

My get together mini doesn't seem to charge properly. The red light initially goes on and then turns off within the space of a minute and doesn't seem to charge up, even when left plugged in. Is this a known fault?

Is there an app or software that can be used tune the speaker? I just got mine and I found it quite weird that it sounds very muddy when I sit close to it but the sound very big and clear when I am far away from it.

I brought the Marley Get Together Mini for myself this christmas just been. I have not been able to charge it fully successfully at all. When I plug the charger in the red light will turn off after a small amount of time.
